Block Messages from Specic Numbers
1 Go to Messaging > > Blocked > > Blocklist.
2 Touch and add the numbers you want to block. SMS and MMS messages sent by
these numbers will all be blocked.
Block Messages Containing Specic Keywords
1 Go to Messaging > > Blocked > > Keyword blocklist.
2 Touch
and add the keywords to be ltered. All messages containing these keywords
will be blocked.
Set Whether to Receive Notications for Blocked Messages
Go to
Messaging > > Blocked > > Receive notications and set whether to
receive notications when messages are blocked.
Use Advanced Messaging
Advanced messaging is an instant messaging service based on the data service. Integrating
the functions of both SMS and MMS messages, it provides you with a new and convenient
way of communication.
Advanced messaging supports sending a variety of content, such as text, images, voice and
video clips, and location information.
This feature may vary depending on your carrier.
This feature is only available in some countries and regions.
Enable Advanced Messaging
• To use Advanced messaging, rst enable the VoLTE service. For details, contact your
mobile carrier.
• Before enabling Advanced messaging, switch to mobile data. After the service is
enabled, you can chat over mobile data or Wi-Fi.
• Using Advanced messaging will only use data and will not charge SMS message fees.
It is recommended that you use the service over a Wi-Fi network to save data.
Go to Messaging > > Settings > Advanced messaging and make sure Advanced
messaging is enabled.
Send Messages Using Advanced Messaging
Once Advanced messaging has been enabled, on the Messaging screen, touch to enter
the New message screen. Then you can:
• Chat with a contact: Touch
and select a contact.
