Automatically Switch Between Portrait and Landscape Orientation
S
wipe down from the status bar to open the notication panel, then swipe down on it again
to sho
w all shortcuts. Touch
to enable the Auto-rotate feature.
Y
our device will then be able to automatically adjust your screen display, with the help of the
built-in Swing Gesture Sensor (to detect your face orientation) and gravity sensor.
For example:
• When you need to switch your device between portrait and landscape orientation when it is
placed on a surface, just keep your face in front of the screen and rotate your device.
• When you are using your device while lying down, the screen will not change its display
orientation when you change the way you are lying.
The Swing Gesture Sensor is located at the top of the screen. To ensure that the sensor
can
eectively identify your face orientation, keep your face in front of the screen during
use.
Why Can't the Screen Rotate Intelligently?
The possible causes are as follows:
• Your device comes equipped with the Swing Gesture Sensor to detect the face direction.
Therefore, you need to ensure that the sensor can detect faces.
• Do not cover the sensor, which is located in the upper left corner of the screen.
• Look straight at the screen and keep a distance of 40–60 cm away from the sensor.
• The sensor works better in a well-lit environment.
• Landscape display is not supported in some apps (such as navigation or game apps) and
the home screen.
Introduction to GPU Turbo
GPU Turbo represents a radical redesign of the graphics processing framework of the device
at its most basic level, integrating hardware and software to achieve accelerated graphics
processing. It improves the device's graphics processing eciency, image quality, and
perf
ormance, whilst simultaneously reducing system power consumption.
The end result is a great improvement in user experience when playing graphically intense
games.
Use Eye Comfort Mode
Eye comfort mode can eectively reduce harmful blue light and adjust the screen to display
warmer colours, relieving eye fatigue and protecting your eyesight.
