Use the Floating Window
Open a oating window from the Multi-Window dock while gaming, and you can chat with a
friend without missing a second of the action.
You can open a oating window using any of the following methods:
Swipe inward from the left or right edge of your phone and hold, to bring up the Multi-
Window dock. Then touch any app in the dock to open it as a oating window.
Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to enter the Recent tasks screen, and touch the
icon in the top right corner of an app preview to open the app as a oating window.
Relocate the oating window:
Drag the bar at the top of the oating window to move the window to the desired location.
Resize the oating window:
Drag the bottom, either edge or bottom corner of the oating window to resize it.
If you reduce the oating window to the smallest possible size, and then release the
window, it will automatically shrink into a small oating window that remains xed to
the top right corner of the screen.
You can minimize a oating window using any of the following methods:
Quickly drag the bar at the top of the oating window to the left or right.
Touch the bar at the top of the oating window, and drag the window to the left or right
edge.
Touch
on the oating window.
To minimize a small oating window, quickly swipe the window to the left or right.
You can return to full-screen mode using any of the following methods:
Quickly drag the bar at the top of the oating window upwards.
Touch the bar at the top of the oating window, and drag the window up to the status bar.
Touch on the oating window.
To switch to full-screen mode, quickly drag the small oating window upwards.
You can close a oating window using any of the following methods:
Quickly drag the bar at the top of the oating window downwards.
Drag the bar at the top of the oating window down to at the bottom of the screen.
Touch on the oating window.
To close a small oating window, quickly swipe the window downwards.
