Dial a Number or Select a Contact to Call
Use either of the f
ollowing methods to make a call:
• Open
Phone, enter part of a phone number
, the rst letter of a contact's name, or the
contact's initials to nd a contact.
• On the Phone screen, touch the Contacts tab at the bottom, then select a contact to make
a call.
Touch
to end a call.
Use Speed D
ial
Once you've set up speed dialing for a contact, you can quickly call that contact with the
assigned number key.
Go to
Phone > > Set
tings > Speed dial, select a number key, then set a contact for
this speed dial number.
Press the Power Button to End a Call
During a call, press the Power button to end the call.
Go to
Phone > > Set
tings and enable Power button ends call.
Set a Call Background
You can set a wallpaper as the call background.
1 Go to
Settings > Home scr
een & wallpaper > Wallpaper.
2 Select a picture and set it as the wallpaper.
You can also set a prole picture for a contact to be shown on the call background.

een, touch the Contacts tab at the bottom, then select the contact you
want to set a prole picture for.

and then touch to set a prole picture for the contact.
Make an International Call
1 Contact your mobile carrier to activate and inquire about the international calling service.
2 Open Phone, touch the Contacts tab at the bot
tom, then select a contact to make a
call.
For numbers that are not in the contacts list, on the Phone screen, touch and hold the 0
number key to display +, enter the country code and phone number, then touch
to

e an international call.
Manage Call Logs
Voice calls are not supported on Wi-Fi only tablets.
