Automatically Switch Between Portrait and Landscape Orientation
Swipe down from the status bar to open the notication panel, then swipe down on it again
to show all shortcuts. Touch to enable the Auto-rotate feature.
Your device will then be able to automatically adjust your screen display, with the help of the
built-in Swing Gesture Sensor (to detect your face orientation) and gravity sensor.
For example:
When you need to switch your device between portrait and landscape orientation when it is
placed on a surface, just keep your face in front of the screen and rotate your device.
When you are using your device while lying down, the screen will not change its display
orientation when you change the way you are lying.
The Swing Gesture Sensor is located at the top of the screen. To ensure that the sensor
can eectively identify your face orientation, keep your face in front of the screen during
use.
