Essentials Lock the Screen If your phone remains inactive for a period of time, it will automatically lock the screen and enter sleep mode to save power. Touch Widgets, then drag the Screen Lock icon to the home screen. You can now touch the Screen Lock icon to lock the screen.

Essentials View Notifications When there is a notification reminder, you can unlock the screen and swipe down from the status bar to open the notification panel and view the notification. Clear Notifications • You can remove a notification by swiping right on it. • You can touch to clear all notifications. Some system notifications and notifications from apps running in the foreground cannot be cleared.

If moisture is detected in the USB port, your device will automatically activate safety measures and stop charging. Disconnect your device from the USB port and wait until the USB port is dry. • Do not cover your device or charger during charging.
Essentials Battery Icon Battery Level Less than 4% battery remaining. Charging, less than 10% battery remaining. Charging, 10% to 90% battery remaining. Charging, at least 90% battery remaining. If 100% is displayed next to the battery icon, or a charging complete message is displayed on the lock screen, the battery is fully charged.
Smart Features AI Lens Enable AI Lens There are several methods for you to access AI Lens. From Camera Open Camera, select Photo mode, and touch to access AI Lens. From the Search Bar When the screen is unlocked, swipe down from the center of the screen to open the search box and touch next to the search bar to access AI Lens. From the Lock Screen When the screen is locked, turn it on, swipe up from the bottom to open the shortcuts panel, and touch to unlock the screen and access AI Lens.
Smart Features Scan to Learn More AI Lens allows you to learn more about artworks or landmarks you see by scanning the objects with your camera. Scan to Learn More Using Camera 1 Go to Camera > Photo, touch 2 Position the object within the viewfinder and wait for it to be identified. 3 Touch the information card to obtain additional information. , and then touch . Scan and Count Calories AI Lens allows you to count the calories and nutrients in an item of food by scanning it with your camera.

Apps Introduction to HiSuite Huawei HiSuite is a PC-based tool used for managing Huawei smart devices (including phones and tablets). With Huawei HiSuite, you can use a computer to manage the data of your phone, such as contacts, messages, images, videos, and apps. You can also use this tool to back up or restore data, or update your phone to the latest version. 1 Visit the official Huawei website on your computer, search for HiSuite, then download and install the latest version.
Apps Update the System Using HiSuite After installing HiSuite on your computer and connecting your computer with your phone, you can use HiSuite to update the system of your phone. Update the System Using HiSuite • Your personal data may be erased during a system update. It is recommended that you back up your data before updating your phone. • Ensure that your phone is at least 20% charged and keep the USB cable connected throughout the update process.

Settings These steps may be different if you are sharing files directly from an app. 4 Touch the icon of the receiving device to establish a connection, then share the files. 5 On the receiving device, accept the Wi-Fi Direct transfer request. Then search for and access the Wi-Fi Direct folder in Files to view the received files.

Normal mode will be easier on your eyes and is therefore recommended.
Settings Enable or Disable Eye Comfort Mode • Swipe down from the status bar to open the notification panel, swipe down on it again to show all shortcuts, then turn on or turn off Eye Comfort. You can touch and hold Eye Comfort to access the settings screen. • Go to Settings > Display & brightness > Eye Comfort, and enable or disable Enable all day. Once Eye comfort mode is enabled, will be displayed in the status bar, and the screen will take on a yellow tint since less blue light is being emitted.
Settings Use Smart Screen Resolution Go to Settings > Display & brightness, and enable Smart resolution. Your phone will automatically adjust the screen resolution according to the current running status. Full Screen Display Apply Full Screen Display • Most apps installed on your phone will automatically adapt to display correctly in full screen. • For apps that don't, go to Settings > Display & brightness > More display settings > FullScreen Display, and toggle on their switches.

Set a Video Ringtone Set a video as the ringtone for incoming calls on your phone. 1 Go to Phone > > Settings > Ringtone.
