When using the stylus for the rst time, open the stylus cap and insert the stylus into the
charging port of your phone, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the pairing.
The stylus can be connected to a maximum of four devices at the same time.
The stylus will power o if left inactive for a certain period of time. In this case, press the
Smart key on the stylus or insert the stylus into your phone to resume the connection.
After pairing, you can:
• Quickly access Notepad: Press and hold the Smart key on the stylus, then tap the screen to
quickly open Notepad.
• Capture screenshots: When the screen is on, press and hold the Smart key on the stylus,
then tap the screen twice to take a screenshot, draw a closed shape to capture part of the
screen, or draw an "S" to take a scrollshot.
• Learn more about the stylus: Go to Settings > Accessibility features > Stylus. You can also
touch Firmware update to update the stylus rmware.
HUAWEI M-Pen 2 is not supported on all phone models.
Use Your Phone While Wearing Gloves

our phone can respond to your touches even when you are wearing gloves.
Go to Settings > Accessibility features, and enable Gloves mode.
To ensure a higher success rate, apply adequate force when touching or swiping on the
scr
een.
Operate Your Phone with One Hand
Y
ou can switch to a mini-screen view so you can use your phone with one hand.
1 Go to Settings > Accessibility features > One-Handed mode, and enable One-Handed
mode.
2 You can access One-Handed mode using any of the following methods:
• If you are using Gestures and Slide across bottom to switch apps is enabled, slide
across the bottom of the screen and hold.
• If you are using Gestures and Slide across bottom to switch apps is disabled, slide
across the bottom of the screen in an arc and hold.
• If you are using Three-key navigation, slide across the bottom of the screen.
• If you are using Gestures and there is no Slide across bottom to switch apps switch,
slide across the bottom of the screen.
3 Touch any area outside the mini-screen view to exit.
One-handed mode will not work if Gesture magnication is enabled on your phone.
The feature availability varies by device.
