Locating Locating the kids watch An admin can touch Locate on the home screen of the HUAWEI FamCare app to refresh the location of the kids watch and view the location in real time. • Locating the kids watch using the HUAWEI FamCare app depends on the network condition of the kids watch. After the kids watch is powered off, its last location can be viewed in the HUAWEI FamCare app.
Locating • A maximum of seven safe zones (including the default home and school) can be set for your child. • A safe zone is a circular area with a radius of 300 to 1000 meters and is not a specific location. The radius can be set as required but irregular areas are not supported. • After Safe Zones is enabled, the kids watch will be located periodically, which will increase power consumption. Safe Zones will be unavailable when the watch enters Power Saving mode.
Locating • The kids watch will play the sound even if it is in Class time or Vibrate mode. • This feature is supported when the kids watch is powered on and linked to the HUAWEI FamCare app. This feature can also be used on your phone remotely. Reporting that the watch has been lost Open the HUAWEI FamCare app, touch in the right corner of the home screen, and go to Find watch > Report as lost.
Calling Making phone calls Making calls from the kids watch Method 1: Swipe on the home screen of the kids watch to enter the Phone screen and select the contact you want to call. Alternatively, open Call logs, select the contact or number you want to call, and touch Call. Method 2: Swipe on the home screen of the kids watch to enter the Phone screen, touch Keypad, dial a number, and touch the Call icon in the lower left corner to make a call.
Calling Receiving a video call on the kids watch 1 (Admin) Open the HUAWEI FamCare app and touch the Video call icon at the bottom of the home screen to make a video call to the kids watch. 2 Touch to answer the call on the kids watch. Making calls with a Vision Making a call from a Vision to the kids watch 1 Log in to a Vision using an admin account linked with the kids watch and open the MeeTime app on the Vision.
Calling • To ensure that the child in danger can get help as soon as possible, set admins in Admin appropriately in the HUAWEI FamCare app and sort them by priority. • Making an emergency call requires the watch to be powered on.
Chatting Chatting Chatting on the kids watch 1 Swipe left on the home screen of the kids watch, touch Chat, and select a contact or group you want to chat with. 2 Touch and hold to record a voice message. The voice message will then be sent after and select Text, Gallery, Photo, or Take video. Touch you release the icon. Touch to send a preinstalled emotion. 3 Touch Create group at the bottom of the Chat screen, select friends, and start a group chat.
Chatting • An admin linked to the kids watch will be automatically added to the family group chat. • To clear chat records in the HUAWEI FamCare app, admins can go to Member > Clear chat history in a group chat, or enter a group chat or a one-to-one chat and then touch and hold one or more chat records to clear them.

Kids Watch Taking photos 1 Swipe on the watch's home screen, touch Photo, and touch the Photo icon in the middle or press the FUN button to take a photo. 2 Touch the thumbnail in the lower right corner to view, delete, or share a photo. 3 Swipe right on the screen to exit the photo taking screen.
Kids Watch Adding friends Shaking to add friends • Press the Home button when on the home screen of the kids watch to enter the app list, touch Add friends, invite a friend to enter the same screen, and shake watches at the same time. • The main admin will then receive a notification from the HUAWEI FamCare app and can accept or reject the friend request. If the main admin touches Allow or does not perform any operations, the friend will be added.
Kids Watch If the jump rope data is 0, the watch will display a message indicating that the data will not be recorded when you end the workout. You will need to confirm before exiting the workout. Swimming Freestyle mode 1 Press the Home button when on the home screen of the kids watch to enter the app list and go to Workout > Swim > Freestyle to enter the Freestyle screen. 2 Touch and wait three seconds to start recording the swimming duration and calories burned.
Kids Watch Sports battles The kids watch comes with the sports battles app that provides step count battles, jump rope battles, and sit-up battles. You can shake your watch to match it with surrounding watches that support Huawei sports battles and then start a battle. Workout battle data will be automatically saved for you to view it at any time. Starting a battle 1 Press the Home button when on the home screen of the kids watch to enter the app list and then touch Sports battles.
Kids Watch Viewing data in the HUAWEI FamCare app Open the HUAWEI FamCare app, touch in the upper right corner of the home screen, and touch Health to view the child's workout data such as the step count, moderate to high intensity activity, and workout records. Step count 1 Go to Steps > Like to give a like to the child. 2 Touch the Settings icon in the upper right corner, touch Goal, and drag the step count bar to set a daily goal for the child.
Kids Watch 2 The kids watch will then automatically scan for available Bluetooth devices and Scanning... will be displayed on the screen. 3 Touch the name of the Bluetooth earphones on the kids watch and then touch Pair on the displayed screen to finish pairing. Adjusting the screen brightness Method 1: Swipe down from the top of the home screen to open the shortcut menu and swipe left or right to adjust the screen brightness.
Kids Watch • After setting the tones, swipe right on the screen to return to the previous screen for the setting to take effect. • By default, the kids watch comes with 10 ringtones, 5 notification tones, and 5 alarm tones. Only built-in songs can be selected as tones for the watch.
Kids Watch (Admin) Open the HUAWEI FamCare app, touch in the upper right corner of the home screen and then go to Manage apps > Lock screen PIN to disable the lock screen PIN. After the lock screen PIN is disabled, the lock screen PIN will be cleared from the watch and the lock screen PIN option will not be displayed in Advanced settings. To enable the lock screen PIN again, reset a lock screen PIN on the watch.
Kids Watch Align the metal contacts on the charging cradle with the metal contacts on the charging port on the watch rear and place the devices horizontally. If the charging port cannot be attached properly, adjust the direction of the metal contacts on the charging cradle until the magnet automatically attaches to the metal contacts. Connect the charging cable to a power supply. The charging battery level indicator will then be displayed on the screen.
Kids Watch When the kids watch is connected to a charger, the battery level is higher than 10%, and the Wi-Fi network is available, the photos in Gallery on the watch will be automatically uploaded to Cloud Gallery. You will need to enter the password to access advanced settings. After the kids watch is linked for the first time, a four-digit password will be randomly generated. You can view and change it by going to > Settings > Password protected advanced settings in the HUAWEI FamCare app.
Kids Watch • It is recommended that you ask your child to take off the watch before updating the version. • Ensure that the battery level of the kids watch is greater than or equal to 30%. If the battery level is low, charge the watch. When the battery level reaches 30%, the watch will then automatically finish updating. • The update takes about 15 to 30 minutes. During the update, the kids watch and the HUAWEI FamCare app will display a message for you to view the update progress.
HUAWEI FamCare App Managing contacts Admins can use the HUAWEI FamCare app to manage the contacts of the kids watch. Admins are classified into the main admin and normal admins. The first admin linked to the kids watch is the main admin and other admins linked to the kids watch are normal admins. Each kids watch can be linked to only one main admin and a maximum of nine normal admins.
HUAWEI FamCare App Adding contacts • (Admin) Open the HUAWEI FamCare app, touch in the upper right corner, go to Contacts > Add, enter the kids watch's name and phone number, touch the profile icon to take a photo, use a preinstalled photo, or use a photo from Gallery as the profile picture, and touch the Check icon in the upper right corner to save the settings. • Swipe on the home screen of the kids watch, go to Phone > Add, enter a name and phone number, and touch Save.
HUAWEI FamCare App • The switch for Block strangers is turned on by default. • If the caller ID service is not activated for the phone card of the kids watch, enabling Block strangers will result in all incoming calls being regarded as unknown calls and calls from admins will not be able to be answered. • For multi-SIM card users, add the account linked to the secondary card as a contact (not an admin). For familiarity number users, add quick numbers corresponding to familiarity numbers to Contacts.
HUAWEI FamCare App • The HUAWEI FamCare app can only receive messages from users not saved in Contacts on the kids watch and will not receive messages from contacts on the kids watch. • Replying to messages is not supported on the kids watch or in the HUAWEI FamCare app. • The main admin can touch the Settings icon in the upper right corner of the Messaging screen and turn on/off the switch for receiving messages on behalf of the watch.
HUAWEI FamCare App • The switch for Schedule on/off is turned on by default. When Schedule off is enabled on the watch, the HUAWEI FamCare app will receive message notifications. When Schedule on is enabled on the watch, the HUAWEI FamCare app will not receive message notifications. • The interval between Schedule on and Schedule off must be greater than 30 minutes. • When the kids watch is being charged, it will stay powered on and Schedule off will not take effect.
HUAWEI FamCare App Before using this feature, ensure that the network connection of the kids watch is normal. • (Admin) Open the HUAWEI FamCare app, touch in the upper right corner of the home screen, and go to Settings > Password protected advanced settings to view the password. • Touch Edit at the bottom of the Password protected advanced settings screen, enter a new four-digit password, and touch the Check icon in the upper right corner to confirm.
HUAWEI FamCare App Downloading and updating the HUAWEI FamCare app Downloading the HUAWEI FamCare app on Android phones You can download the latest version of the HUAWEI FamCare app in the following ways based on your phone model: Huawei phones Search for "HUAWEI FamCare" in HUAWEI AppGallery and follow the onscreen instructions to download it. Non-Huawei phones 1 Scan the QR code displayed on the kids watch's package or screen upon the first startup.
HUAWEI FamCare App After cloud data is cleared using the HUAWEI FamCare app, all the information set on the kids watch will be deleted, including contacts (with the exception of admins), workout data, Class Time, Schedule on/off, safe zones, Wi-Fi, alarms, and exercise goals. Some features will be restored to their default settings, including Bluetooth, blocking strangers, Schedule on/off, and updates (such as automatic updates and mobile data updates). This operation cannot be undone.
HUAWEI FamCare App Unlinking the kids watch from a phone Unlinking by admins (Admin) Open the HUAWEI FamCare app, touch in the upper left corner of the home screen, select the profile picture of the kids watch you want to unlink from, and go to Unlink > OK.
HUAWEI FamCare App • Only the main admin can restore the watch to its factory settings and clear cloud data. • When the main admin is unlinking the kids watch: If cloud data is not cleared, data about contacts uploaded to the cloud will not be cleared and the main admin's permissions will need to be transferred. If there are normal admins, the main admin will need to transfer the permissions to another admin.
