Der X4 Quadcopter wurde als leicht bedienbares und vielseitiges RC-Modell entworfen, das in der Luft schweben und Kunstflug-Manöver durchführen kann. www.hubsan.com 4 ZUSÄTZLICHE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE 4.1 Lithium-Polymer (LiPo)-Akkus LiPo-Akkus unterscheiden sich von herkömmlichen Akkus dadurch, dass ihr chemischer Inhalt in einer relativ leichten Folienverpackung eingehüllt ist. Dies bringt den Vorteil einer erheblichen Gewichtsreduzierung mit sich, macht ihn aber auch anfälliger für Schäden, wenn er grob oder unsachgemäß gehandhabt wird.

Wasser oder Feuchtigkeit können zu Funktionsstörungen des Modellfluggerätes führen und einen Reaktionsverlust, bzw. Absturz zur Folge haben. 4.3 Richtige Handhabung Aus Sicherheitsgründen sollten Sie nur HUBSAN-Ersatzteile zum Austauschen der Teile benutzen. 4.
www.hubsan.com 6 LADEN DES LIPO-AKKUS 6.1 3.7V 520mAh LiPo-Akku Methode 1: Mit Quadcopter verbinden Verbinden Sie das USB-Ladegerät mit dem USB-Stecker am Quadcopter und das andere Ende mit einer USB-Stromquelle wie z.B. USB-Ladegerät. Die Kontroll-LED leuchtet während des Ladevorgangs auf und erlischt bei voll geladenem Flugakku. Die USB-Spannung beträgt 5 ± 0,5 V. Die Ladezeit beläuft sich auf rund 80 Minuten und die Flugzeit auf rund 6 Minuten.

www.hubsan.com www.hubsan.com 9 MIT DEM X4 FLIEGEN 9.1 Einschalt-Sicherheitsmodus Die Fernsteuerung Ihres X4 ist mit einem Sicherheitsmodus ausgestattet, der sicherstellt, dass sich der Motor des X4 erst dann einschaltet, wenn er ein entsprechendes Kontrollsignal beim Anschluss des LiPo-Akkus empfängt. Führen Sie folgende Schritte durch, um den Quadcopter flugbereit zu stellen: 1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Flugakku sicher im Akkufach sitzt. 2. Drücken Sie die Ein-/Austaste am Quadcopter. 3.

Trotz der Schnelligkeit und der schnellen Reaktion im Normalmodus zeigt der X4 eine noch höhere Leistung im aktivierten Expertenmodus. ■■ Drücken Sie den Höhenruderhebel, um den Expertenmodus zu aktivieren bzw. zu deaktivieren (der X4 und die Fernsteuerung müssen eingeschaltet sein).

www.hubsan.com 11 PROPELLER AUSTAUSCHEN Die Rotorblätter des X4 sind nicht identisch. Jedes Rotorblatt ist entweder mit einem A oder einem B gekennzeichnet. Stellen Sie bei der Anbringung der Ersatz-Rotorblätter sicher, dass Sie vorgehen wie unten dargestellt. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie die Hebel oder Schalter der Fernsteuerung während des Einschaltens nicht bewegen. ■■ LCD der Fernsteuerung schaltet sich plötzlich aus. Ersetzen Sie die AAA-Batterien in der Fernsteuerung.

Entlöten Sie anschließend die dünneren LED-Drähte. This has the advantage of significantly reducing their weight but it does make them more susceptible to damage if roughly or inappropriately handled.
www.hubsan.com 4.2 Prevent Moisture The X4 contains many precision electrical components. Store the battery and the X4 in a dry area at room temperature. Exposure to water or moisture may cause malfunction resulting in loss of responsiveness, or a crash. 4.3 Proper Operation For safety, only use the included HUBSAN spare parts for replacement. 4.4 Always be aware of the rotating blades When in operation, the rotor blades will be spinning at high speed.
www.hubsan.com www.hubsan.com 6 CHARGING THE LIPO BATTERY 6.1 3.7V 520mAh LiPo Battery Method 1: Connect to quadcopter Connect the USB charger to the USB plug on quadcopter, then connect the USB charger to USB connector devices, such as a smartphone charger. The LED lights up while charging and turns off when charging is complete. The voltage of the USB is 5 ± 0.5 V. The charging time is around 80 mins and the flying time is around 6 mins.

(2) MODE 1 Elevator/Rudder Stick Move the Elevator Stick forward or backward to make the quadcopter move forward or backward.

Turn transmitter and copter off. 2. Turn the copter upside down. 3. Slide the microSD card, with contacts facing the copter body, into the card slot. Make sure it locks in place.
www.hubsan.com 9 FLY THE X4 9.1 Power-On Safety Mode Your X4’s flight controller is designed with a Power-On safety feature that ensures that the X4’s motor will not start unless it detects a suitable control signal when the LiPo battery is connected. In order to get the copter ready for flying, observe the following steps: 1. Make sure the flight battery sits securely in the compartment. 2. Press the power button under the quadcopter. 3. Put the X4 on a level surface, or the X4 will drift. 4.

Though fast and responsive in Normal Mode, the X4 has even greater performance capability when Expert Mode is activated. ■■ Press the Elevator stick to activate/deactivate Expert Mode (the X4 and transmitter must both be on). Two beeps indicate Expert Mode; one beep indicates Normal Mode.

When installing replacement propellers, be sure to install as shown below. The X4 will not fly but will flip and crash if the propellers are not installed correctly. www.hubsan.com 13 TROUBLESHOOTING ■■ Transmitter and X4 do not pair. Bring the transmitter as close as possible to the X4 during binding. Make sure you do not move the transmitter sticks or trim during initial power-on. ■■ Transmitter LCD suddenly goes out. Replace the AAA batteries in the transmitter. ■■ Transmitter display is not showing the setting interface after holding down the Elevator stick for 2 seconds. The throttle stick needs to be in the fully down position. ■■ Gyro is not working well.

Then desolder the thinner LED wires. Installation: Solder the red/blue wire onto the anode/positive (+) lead of the LED and the black wire onto the cathode/negative (-) lead of the LED. Press the LED wires into the leg slots, then press the motor wires into the leg slots.

Press the shaft down from the top of the propeller and motor to remove any objects, or replace the motor. ■■ One or more motors stop working. 1. Spin the propellers to see if it jammed the motors, make sure the propellers can spin normally. 2. Resolder any broken motor connections. 3.
