Introduction to Assembly FOLLOW THESE STEPS IF THE BATTERY NEEDS TO BE REPLACED: 1. Remove the seat by pressing the bottom tabs (C) (see page 16). 2. Disconnect the Battery Connectors (A). 3. Disconnect BLACK then RED terminals (B) being careful not to touch connectors to any metal surface. 4. Remove Hold-down Bracket and Screws (C). being careful not to touch battery terminals. 5. Charging the Drive Battery: IMPORTANT! Before using the unit for the first time the battery needs to be charged for at least 8 to 12 hours - no more than 20 hours. Once battery is depleted, recharge for 8 to 12 hours - no more than 20 hours. IMPORTANT! A PREPARATION FOR ASSEMBLY: • Turn the vehicle up-side-down on a soft flat surface. (Cement or other hard surface may scratch the vehicle’s finish) • Cut two Zip-Ties and remove Rear Axle (A) from body.
