FOLLOW THESE STEPS IF THE BATTERY NEEDS TO BE REPLACED:
1. Remove the seat by pressing the bottom tabs (C) (see page 16).
2. Disconnect the Battery Connectors (A).
3. Disconnect BLACK then RED terminals (B) being careful not to touch connectors to any
metal surface.
4. Remove Hold-down Bracket and Screws (C). being careful not to touch battery
terminals.
5. Carefully lift out the Battery
• Depending on the condition of the battery (i.e.: leakage) you may want to wear
protective rubber gloves before removal.
• Do not lift the battery by its connectors or cables.
6. Place the dead battery in a plastic bag.
7. Install replacement battery in same position as original.
8. Reinstall Hold-down Bracket and Screws (C).
9. Reconnect the Terminals - Red to Red and Black to Black (B).
10. Reconnect Battery Connectors (A).
WARNING: Ensure no wires are pinched or bound up.
11. Re-Install Seat (see page 16).

NOTE: All of the directions (right, left, front, rear, etc.) in this manual are as seen by the
rider while seated.
Do not dispose of the carton and packaging until you complete the assembly of the
product. This can prevent accidentally discarding parts of the unit.
