Multi-Zone mode connections
8) Wiring and Connections
• Connecting to External Ampliers
External ampliers can be connected to the 4 channel RCA output connections.
Ensure that the connectors are not grounded or shorted to prevent damage to the unit.
• If M608 is connected as a MULTI-ZONE system with Zone 3 and Zone 4 RCAs con-
nected to ampliers, do not switch M608 to STANDARD mode.
Doing so will cause the Zone 3 amplier to reproduce only low frequencies and the
Zone 4 amplier to reproduce full range frequencies at maximum volume.
This may result in potential speaker and/or hearing damage.
• If M608 is connected as a TOWER conguration with Fixed/Zone4 RCAs connected
to an amplier, do not switch M608 to STANDARD mode. Doing so will cause Fixed/
Zone4 amplier to reproduct a full range of frequencies at maximum volume. This may
result in potential speaker and/or hearing damage.
