(Backlight Time): This option provides you different time periods for your selection as the backlight duration
time.
(Brightness) : This option has seven degrees of backlight brightness for your selection.
(Screen Saver): Only available for monochroic screen product. You can select time for screen saver.
Sound Settings
This set of menu provides users with various functions relevant to sound.
(Volume): You can adjust the volume of Ring, Headset and Key Sound.
Press the up and down-direction key to select proper volume level. Press the key
to confirm or press the

to cancel.
(Ring Tone): You may select from the various ringing tones provided by this handset as your incoming call
ringing tone.
Press the up and down-direction key to select proper ringing tone in the list. Press the key
to confirm or the

to cancel.
(SMS Tone): This handset is equipped with several short message ringing tones itself for user’s selection as
short message prompt tone. Usage method is like that of “Ring Tone”.
(Alarm Tone): This handset provides several alarm clock ringing tones for user’s selection as alarm clock
prompt tone. Usage method is like that of “Ring Tone”.
(Call Alert Mode): This handset provides “Off”, “Vibrate First Then Ring”, “Ring” and “Vibrate” as incoming
call prompt modes.
(SMS Alert Mode): This handset provides “Off”, “Vibrate First Then Ring”, “Ring” and “Vibrate” as short
message prompt modes.
(Missed Call Alert): If “Missed Call Alert” is set on, then there will be prompt tone when there is missed call; or
no tone will be present.
Security Settings
(Phone Lock)
 Password request: If “Password request”is set on, from then on the system will prompt you to
enter the phone’s password when switched on and only when the password is correctly entered can you
use the phone.
 Change Password: Change the phone’s password via this option. Enter the same new password for
two times and press the key
to confirm. The new password will become effective. During this
course you may press the key
to discard the change at any time and return to higher-level menu.
(PIN Setting)
PIN code is a security password to protect the UIM card, which is provided by the network operator. You must
take good care of it and not disclose it. You may set the PIN code verification on to prevent illegal user to use
