After accessing the Add menu, you may select to add a record to your phone or the UIM card.
Input name and number after selecting storage location to add the record. If you need to add other information to
the record, you can do this in “Edit” menu.
Edit
(Edit Name): Edit the name of current record.
(Add Number): Input number of the record. You can classify numbers as follows: Preference Number, Generic
Number, Work Number, Home Number, Mobile Number and Fax Number.
(Add E-Mail): Input the email address of this record.
(Add URL): Input the personal homepage corresponding to this record.
(Select Groups): You may classify the record into group. The phone provides 6 groups: VIP Group, Home Group,
Work Group, Friends Group, Personal Group and Business Group.
(Add Notes): Input remark for this record.
Note: Upwards records is stored in the phone. When records is stored in the UIM card, the menu is different.
Copy/Move
If the current record is stored in the phone, it may be copied to the UIM card, or moved to the UIM card. If the
current record is stored in the UIM card, it may be copied to the phone, or moved to the phone.
Copy All
(Copy To UIM): Copy all the records in the phone to UIM card.
(Copy To Phone): Copy all the records in the UIM card to phone
Check Capacity
Display the memory status of the phonebook in UIM card and the phone.
Setting
(Save Mode): Set the storage mode of records.
(View Mode): Set the browsing mode after accessing “Contact” menu.
(Set Lock): When “Set Lock” is enabled, you are required to input the correct password before accessing
“Contact” menu.
Speed Dial
(One Dial): If a number in the Contact is set for a certain single-key dialing, pressing and holding this key may
call this number.
(Smart Dial): If “Smart Dial” is On, you may perform speed-dialing according to the initial letter of the word of
the other party’s name.
Note: When the length of a record is 4 characters (or more than 4 characters), you cannot make intelligent dialing.
