Auto Dimming
The auto dimming feature will automatically dim the display screen of the Sirius S50 when it
is dark. This is useful if you use the sleep timer feature at night, or if using the Sirius S50 at
night in a vehicle.
To Enable or Disable Auto Dimming
Press the Setup button.
Select Display Settings
Auto-Dim On/Auto-Dim Off. (Figure 1)
The Auto-Dim On/Off menu option toggles to enable or disable. If the Auto-Dim Bright-
ness entry is dimmed, this indicates that it is disabled.
To Adjust the Auto Dimming Brightness
Press the Setup button.
Select Display Settings
Auto-Dim Brightness. (Figure 2)
Use the
Media Dial to select the brightness level. (Figure 3)
Press the
Select button to set the new brightness level.

PC Software
The PC software included with your Sirius S50 allows you to connect your Sirius S50 to your
PC. The following list provides a few highlights of the capabilities of the PC software:
Download songs to the playlists, delete or modify the order of songs and clips.
Manage the content of My Sirius Channels playlists: Reset the channel ratings and specify
favorite channels for My Sirius Channels.
Manage memory allocation for downloaded music.
Download and manage art for channels, songs, artists, shows, and logos.
Manage presets: Add, move, and remove presets.
Access the Setup menu functions for modification.
Update information pertaining to sports teams and leagues, and traffic and weather cities.
Check for updates to the operating system software and download them to Sirius S50.
Reinstall deleted operating system files.
Display the SIRIUS ID (SID) of your Sirius S50.
