General Designed for melting capping compound, paraffin and similar materials, compound melting pots feature adjustable thermostat to deliver close temperature control automatically from 100 to 320°F (37.8 to 160°C). Includes cover, pilot light, 6’ (1.8m) 3- conductor grounded cord set. Inner pot is cast aluminum encased in a metal jacket with fiberglass and air insulation, keeping heat loss to a minimum.
Notes • The high limit thermal fuse is set at 216°C, which is under the thermostat range. • Leaving the pot on all day will degrade the hi-limit which otherwise has an expected service life of 2 years. • Consult the factory for help if questions arise.
