Use wood screws Use machine screws (included) when securing (provided with outlet to support structure with box) when securing to approved electrical outlet existing ceiling fan-rated box. www.HunterFanInternational.com KEEP! (not to scale) 20 cm (8”) & 1 cm (3/8”) STRIP CUT Downrod (continued) ! KEEP Remove the pre-installed setscrew so that the downrod can be inserted. Hand tighten the downrod (at least 4-5 full turns) until it stops. The wires can be cut, but leave at least 8” extending from the top of the downrod. 20 cm (8”) Tighten the setscrew with pliers. DO NOT HAND TIGHTEN. 1 cm (3/8”) If the setscrew is not tightened securely, the fan may fall.
www.HunterFanInternational.com Downrod (continued) Put the wires and downrod through the canopy. Let the canopy sit loosely on top of the fan. DO NOT PICK THE FAN UP BY THE CANOPY OR WIRES. Place the downrod ball into the slot in the ceiling bracket.
Wiring OM FR CEILIN Note: To connect the wires, hold the bare metal leads together and place a wire connector over them, then twist clockwise until tight. G M FA N Using the orange wire connectors from the hardware bag, connect the black wire (ungrounded) from the ceiling to the black and the black with white stripe wires from the fan. Connect the white wire (grounded) from the ceiling to the white wire from the fan.
www.HunterFanInternational.com Canopy Screw Holes Position the canopy so that, when lifted into place, the canopy fits into the hanging bracket as shown. Lift the canopy into place so that the screw holes are aligned. Install the two canopy screws, found in the hardware bag. Note: Fan style may vary.
Blades Insert each blade into a slot. Align the holes on the blade with the holes on the blade ring. www.HunterFanInternational.com Attach the blade to the blade ring using the blade assembly screws, found in the hardware bag.
Switch Housing Partially install two machine screws, found in the hardware bag, halfway into the motor housing. It does not matter which two screw holes you choose. www.HunterFanInternational.com Feed the wires through the center hole of the upper switch housing, then wrap the keyhole slots around the screws and twist counterclockwise. Use only the light fixture supplied with this fan model.
Switch Housing (continued) www.HunterFanInternational.com Raise the bottom cap to the switch housing. Align the screw holes in the switch housing and the screw holes in the bottom cap. Attach the bottom cap with the three provided screws from the hardware bag.

After removing the switch plate cover, remove all wiring from the switch. 2. Using the wire connectors, connect each black wire from the wall control to a black wire from the switch box. Connect ground wire from the switch box to the green/yellow wire from the wall control.

Remove the knob from the wall control and mount the faceplate (not included) to the wall control using the two #6-32 screws you removed earlier from the faceplate. Reattach the knob onto the wall control and turn it to the left for the OFF position.

The fan has four speed settings in sequence: high, medium, low and off. Cleaning products may damage the finishes.
www.HunterFanInternational.com Troubleshooting Fan doesn’t work Excessive wobbling • Make sure power switch is on. • Tighten all of the blade and blade ring screws until they are snug. • Push the motor reversing switch firmly left or right to ensure that it is engaged. • Check the circuit breaker to ensure the power is turned on. • Turn the power off, support the fan carefully, and check that the hanger ball is properly seated. • Make sure the blades spin freely.
