If you are unfamiliar with wiring, use a qualified electrician. www.HunterFan.com Top Housing Top Housing 1.888.830.1326 Trim Ring Canopy Adapter Thread the wires through the top housing. Place the top housing onto the motor housing so that the holes in the top housing lineup with the holes in the motor housing. Ensure all four screw holes line up with the screw holes in both the top housing and the adapter.

Install the top housing screws. Install the grounding screw in the smaller screw hole. www.HunterFan.com Hanging the Fan Ceiling Plate Hook Raise the fan and align the slots in the canopy with the hooks on the ceiling plate. Ceiling Plate Hook Place the slots over the ceiling plate hooks to hang the fan. Note: To hang the fan, you must tilt the canopy to an almost vertical position so that the canopy slots sit on the ceiling plate hooks. Note: To connect the wires, hold the bare metal leads together and place a wire connector over them, then twist clockwise until tight. Connect the blue wire from the receiver to the blue wire (or possibly black with white stripe wire) from the fan. Blue Blue l Yel ow Black Place the receiver inside the canopy. Ensure the wires remain connected. Connect the yellow wire from the receiver to the black wire from the fan.
www.HunterFan.com Canopy 1.888.830.1326 Ceiling Plate Hooks Canopy Screw Canopy Screw Screw Holes Swing the fan up to align the canopy screw holes with the mounting holes on the ceiling plate. Note: The slots in the canopy must remain engaged while swinging the canopy for alignment. Hold the canopy up with the screw holes aligned. Partially install two canopy screws, found in the hardware bag, into the holes opposite the ceiling plate hooks.
www.HunterFan.com Canopy (continued) Canopy Trim Ring Using both hands, push the canopy trim ring up to the top of the canopy. The canopy trim ring will snap and lock into place. Note: Should you need to remove the trim ring, press firmly on opposite sides of the trim ring. www.HunterFan.com Switch Housing Screw two housing assembly screws from the hardware bag halfway into the motor housing. It does not matter which two screw holes you choose. Make sure the upper switch housing is securely attached to the mounting plate. Failure to properly secure all 3 assembly screws could result in the switch housing fixture falling. Feed the wire plug through the center hole of the upper switch housing, then wrap keyhole slots around the screws and twist counterclockwise.
www.HunterFan.com Light Kit 1.888.830.1326 Switch Housing Screw Partially install two of the switch housing screws found in the bag. Connect the plugs from the upper and lower switch housings. Make sure to line up the colored markings on the connectors. Align the keyhole slots in the light kit housing with the switch housing screws.
www.HunterFan.com Light Kit (continued) Tab 1.888.830.1326 Notch Bulb CONGRA YOU’RETULATIONS! DONE! Install a light bulb in each socket. When necessary, replace with bulbs of the same wattage. Position the notches in the outer rim of the globe so they line up with the tabs on the inside surface of the light fixture rim. Carefully lift the globe up inside the light fixture as far as it will go. Rotate the globe in a clockwise direction until it is held tightly in place by the three tabs.
www.HunterFan.com Remote Control Battery Door r we o nP r Tu ON 1.888.830.1326 Fan Off High Phillips Head Screw To access the battery compartment, remove the small Phillips head screw that secures the battery door to the transmitter assembly. The battery should be installed with the positive (+) side up. Replace with a CR2032 battery when necessary. The remote transmitter should already be paired to the receiver and ready to use.

Speeds range from off (0) to high (3). Quickly press the Light button to turn the lights off and on. Rocker- Style Plate To install the transmitter cradle, remove the two screws holding the switch cover plate. Do not remove the cover plate.
Maintenance, Operation & Cleaning (continued) www.HunterFan.com Safe-Exit The Safe-Exit Program gives you about thirty seconds of light when you turn the lights off to exit the room before the lights go out. To use Safe-Exit: • Press the Fan Off button for at least three seconds to initiate the Safe-Exit Mode. • The lights will flash for visual confirmation. • The lights will stay on 50% brightness for 15 seconds and then begin to dim. After a total of 30 seconds, the lights will be completely off.
www.HunterFan.com Troubleshooting Fan doesn’t work Excessive wobbling Noisy operation • Make sure power switch is on. • Make sure the blades are securely attached to the blade irons according to the blade assembly instructions provided. • Check to see if any of the blades are cracked. If so, replace all of the blades. • Push the motor reversing switch firmly left or right to ensure that it is engaged. • Check the circuit breaker to ensure the power is turned on. • Make sure the blades spin freely.
