JEEP WRANGLER FRONT MUD GUARD
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Please read instructions thoroughly before installation.
Tools Required
Short Phillips screwdriver
Drill and 1/16 drill bit
Package Contents
Driver & passenger side mud guards
#10 SEM Screws (qty. 10)
U-clip (qty. 10)
Instruction sheet
MUD GUARD INSTALLATION
NOTE: Turn front wheels left or right to allow clearance for mud guard installation. It may also be
necessary to remove the wheels before mud guard installation.
1. Clean and degrease the mud guard location area on the fender before installation.
2. Remove the plastic fasteners at locations A, B, C and D. Discard the fasteners.
3. Pull the fender liner back and install a U-clip over the plastic stud at locations C and D. See Figure 1.
4. Install a U-clip over the fender liner at locations A and B. See Figure 2. Replace fender liner to its original location.
5. Install #10 SEM screws into the U-clips at locations A, B, C and D. Do not tighten.
6. Using the mud guard as a template drill a 1/16 hole at location E.
7. Install a #10 SEM screw at location E through the mud guard and fender liner and into a U-clip on the back
side of the liner. The U-clip will be used as a nut. Check mud guard fit and alignment before tightening.
