SPEED AND WIRING The no-load speed of the electric motor varies by model and specification. The motor speed is not constant and decreases under a load or with lower voltage. For voltage, the wiring in a shop is as important as the motor’s horsepower rating. A line intended only for lights cannot properly carry a power tool motor. Wire that is heavy enough for a short distance will be too light for a greater distance. A line that can support one power tool may not be able to support two or three tools.

FEATURES KNOW YOUR AIR COMPRESSOR PRESSURE REGULATOR KNOB See Figure 2. Before attempting to use this product, familiarize yourself with all operating features and safety rules. Use the pressure regulator knob to adjust the amount of air being delivered through the hose. REGULATOR PRESSURE GAUGE TOOL AND ACCESSORY KIT The current line pressure is displayed on the regulator pressure gauge. This pressure can be adjusted by rotating the pressure regulator knob.
ASSEMBLY ASSEMBLING THE RUBBER FOOT AND WHEELS NUT WASHER See Figure 3. Mount the rubber foot as shown in figure 3. Tighten firmly with an open-end wrench (not included) to secure it in position. ASSEMBLY REGULATOR PRESSURE GAUGE BREAKING IN THE PUMP See Figure 4 - 5. PRESSURE REGULATOR KNOB Check and tighten all bolts, fittings, etc. Turn the pressure regulator knob fully clockwise to open the air flow. Place the switch in the OFF position and plug in the power cord. Open the drain valve completely. Turn the air compress ON ( l ) and run the air compressor for 10 minutes to break in pump parts. Place the switch in the OFF position. Close the drain valve.
OPERATION APPLICATIONS WARNING: Air compressors are utilized in a variety of air system applications. Match hoses, connectors, air tools, and accessories to the capabilities of the air compressor. Do not allow familiarity with tools to make you careless. Remember that a careless fraction of a second is sufficient to inflict serious injury. You may use this tool for purposes listed below: Operating some air-powered tools. Inflating tires, air beds, sports equipment, etc.
OPERATION DRAINING THE TANK See Figure 9 - 10. To help prevent tank corrosion and keep moisture out of the air used, the tank of the compressor should be drained daily. A correct use of the drain valve: Verify that the compressor is turned off. Holding the handle, tilt the compressor toward the drain valve so that it’s set in a lower position. Open the drain valve completely. Keep the compressor tilted (figure 10) until all moisture has been removed. Drain moisture from tank into a suitable container.
OPERATION OVERLOAD PROTECTOR This air compressor is equipped with a thermal overload device which will turn the air compressor off automatically, if the air compressor becomes overheated. If the motor turns OFF repeatedly, check for the following possible causes first: Low Voltage from the outlet. Lack of proper ventilation or outside air or room temperature too high. Extension cord too long or wrong gauge wire used. To reset the air compressor: Turn the air compressor off.

The correct tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which the tool is designed. c) Do not use the tool if the switch does not turn the tool on or off. Any tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired. d) Disconnect the tool from the air source before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the tool.
BRAD/STAPLER WARNING: SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES Remove finger from the trigger when not driving fasteners. Never carry the tool with finger on trigger, the tool is able to fire a fastener. Do not attach the hose or tool to your body. Attach the hose to the structure to reduce the risk of loss of balance if the hose shifts. a) If not used correctly and without suitable maintenance, the brad/stapler can cause serious injury. b) Always wear goggles and ear plugs when using the brad/stapler.

Check that is free to move in and out without any obstruction (Fig. 13). 3) Release the outer part of cartridge (C) from the locked position, pressing lever (D) (Fig. 14). 4) Slide the outer part of cartridge (C) downwards (Fig. 15). 5) Insert a set of nails (H) in the housing of the cartridge (L) checking correct positioning (Fig. 16).
BRAD/STAPLER 5) Using a suitable Allen wrench (G), remove screws (M) - (N) and (O) located in the top part of the brad/stapler (Fig. 19). 6) Remove cover (I) of the brad/stapler (Fig. 20). 7) Remove the jammed nail. 8) Replace cover (I) of the brad/stapler. 9) Using a suitable Allen wrench (G), refasten screws (M) - (N) and (O) to cover (I). 10) Slide the outer part of cartridge (C) upwards, pressing lever (D) at the same time (Fig. 17). 11) Lock the outer part of cartridge (C), releasing lever (D).

SIPHON/BLOW GUN A siphon gun is simply an air gun (Fig. 27) that sucks up liquid into the air stream and propels the mixture out the nozzle end. Use for spraying lubricating oils, cutting oils, and cooling oils. SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES Do not direct the stream of compressed air towards people, pets or other animals. Never use the jet of sucked up liquid on objects that may be damaged by the pressure of the liquid. Never direct the jet of sucked up liquid towards live electrical parts.

ARMADO USO INICIAL DE LA BOMBA MANÓMETRO REGULADOR Vea las figuras 4 y 5. PERILLA DE REGULACIÓN DE PRESIÓN Revise y apriete todos los pernos, adaptadores, etc. Gire completamente a la derecha la perilla de regulación de presión para abrir el flujo de aire. Coloque el interruptor en la posición de apagado (O) y conecte el cordón de corriente. Abra completamente la válvula de drenaje. Encienda el compresor (l) y déjelo funcionar 10 minutos para dar a las piezas de la bomba un uso inicial.
FUNCIONAMIENTO USOS Los compresores de aire se utilizan en una veriedad de sistemas de suministro de aire. Las mangueras, conectores, herramientas de aire y accesorios deben corresponder a la capacidad del compresor de aire. FUNCIONAMIENTO DRENADO DEL TANQUE Vea las figuras 9 y 10. Como ayuda para impedir la corrosión del tanque y mantener el aire libre de humedad, debe drenarse diariamente el tanque del compresor. Uso correcto de la válvula de drenaje: Verificar que el compresor esté apagado. Sujetándolo por la manilla, inclinar el compresor hacia la válvula de drenaje de tal manera que éste se encuentre en la posición más baja. Gire a la derecha la válvula de drenaje para abrirla.
FUNCIONAMIENTO PROTECTOR CONTRA LA SOBRECARGA Para reiniciar el compresor de aire: Apague el compresor de aire. Desconecte el compresor de aire y déjelo enfriar durante 30 minutos. Conecte el compresor a una toma aprobada. Encienda el compresor. Este compresor de aire está provisto de un dispositivo térmico de sobrecarga que desactivará el compresor de aire de forma automática si este se calienta en exceso.

CLAVADORA/GRAPADORA USO Y CUIDADO DE LA HERRAMIENTA a) Use abrazaderas u otra forma práctica para afianzar y apoyar la pieza de trabajo a una plataforma estable. Sujetar la pieza con las manos o apoyarla contra el cuerpo no proporciona la estabilidad adecuada y puede llevar a la pérdida de control. b) No fuerce la herramienta. Use la herramienta que corresponda con la aplicación. La herramienta adecuada hará un trabajo mejor y más seguro, y a la velocidad para la cual fue diseñada.

CLAVADORA/GRAPADORA G MANTENIMIENTO Antes de cada uso, lubrique la entrada de aire (E) de la clavadora/grapadora (Fig. 12).
