What is the correct power supply
for my compressor to work
properly?
This air compressor is powered by a precision built electric motor. It should
be connected to a power supply that is 240 volts, 60 Hz, AC only (normal
household current).
Do I need to register my
compressor for warranty?
No. Since the compressor is a Home Depot exclusive product, you do not
need to register for warranty. The proof of purchase (receipt) should be kept
if you need to claim for warranty in the future.
How could I connect my
compressor to the power supply?
There is no plug for this compressor. A certified electrician is require to wire
the compressor with power supply. Instructions and safety information can
be found in the Use and Care Manual that can be found online at
www.homedepot.com. The detailed wiring diagram can also be found online
at www.homedepot.com with model # C801H.
What type of oil does my
compressor use?
Use 30W compressor oil or a heavy duty SAE 30W, non-detergent, SF
grade or better oil. DO NOT use multi-weight automotive engine oils, they
will reduce compressor life. Under extreme winter condition use SAE-10
weight oil.
How often should I change oil for
my compressor?
The first oil change should be conducted after 40 hours of operation. After
this, oil should be changed every 100 hours of operation.
Where can I find the replacement
parts of my compressor?
You can find the replacement parts list online at www.homedepot.com with
model # C801H. The model number can also be found on the data tag
located on the tank or shroud of the unit.
