Pre-Installation
IMPORTANT: Floor tiles must be stored in a moist-free environment at a minimum of 65˚F and not in direct sunlight for a minimum of 48
hours prior to installation. The subfloor should be the same temperature as well.
Make sure all subfloor surfaces are level and clean from any debris or residue prior to installation.
ADHESIVES
This is a floating floor, therefore adhesives are not recommended for use with HUSKY Interlocking Garage Floor tiles.
Application exceptions where adhesives may be warranted include:

Sloped areas such as angled ramps, etc.
Areas where the tile will not conform to irregular (curved or other) surfaces.
Vertical wall spaces.
Keep all tiles away from direct sunlight before and during installation to avoid expansion and contraction.
After installation, allow the floor to have enough time to normalize to a fully expanded condition prior to placing permanent heavy
fixtures such as: safes, cabinets, workbenches and shelving units.
This product can be installed on or above grade level. Installations below grade level require the concrete floors to be clean and free
from all moisture and must remain so after the installation is complete.
Tape a thin 18” x 18” plastic film and leave in place for 24 hours.
If excessive moisture appears on the plastic film, the subfloor should be sealed prior to installation. Always use a sealer rated and
warranted to seal below grade applications.
TYPES OF SUBFLOOR APPLICATION
Concrete Surfaces: Best used on level indoor concrete surfaces (not recommended for outdoor use).
Wood or Laminate Flooring: Use caution when installing as moisture could be trapped between surfaces and cause damage.
Tile Flooring: Can be install over tiles, be aware any raised patterns from tile surface could transfer to PVC flooring.
