Guide sleeve and oil seal on
gearbox
• Stop the machine and make sure to wear correct
protective gloves.
• Check if the cutter shaft becomes shaky noticeably by
shaking back and forth by hand.
If the cutter is loose and there is a play approx. 2 cm the
guide sleeves, oil seal and blade shaft on gearbox are
totally worn out. See maintenace schedule.
Vibrations
If vibrations or abnormal noise should occur, contact your
service dealer.
Illustrations showing the bearing and drive shaft in the
main tube.
• 226PTC6 got 5 bearing.
• 226PD3 got 3 bearing.
Contact your Husqvarna dealer to replace the vibration
damping system.
