Costuras decorativas 335
In addition to the stitches already described, there are a number of decorative stitches. Set the desired stitch with the stitch selec- tor dial. At fi rst try the recommended stitch length then adjust as needed. Always make a test fi rst on a scrap of fabric you are going to use. Start sewing slightly in from the edge. When sewing light-weight material you will get a better result if you place a stabilizer under the fabric. Stitch variation On the machine there is a guide ”Stitch varia- tion” showing a number of stitches. By selecting one of the stitches from the left column and decreasing the stitch width accor- ding to recommendation in the right column, the look of the stitch will change. This gives you 12 additional stitches.
Además de las costuras ya descritas hay algu- nos tipos de puntade que permiten ejecutar costuras decorativas. Gire el selector sobre la puntada deseada y siga las recomendaciones en longitud de puntada. Pruebe primero sobre un trozo de la tela que vaya usar. Comience su costura a algunos mm. del borde de la tela. Las telas fi nas tienen tendencia a fruncirse con costuras decorativas. Para evitarlo puede coser junto con papel de seda o vliselina.
”Stitch variation” – Variación de puntada La guía ”Stitch variation” de la máquina muestra un número de costuras. Se cambia el aspecto de las costuras al seleccionar una de las costuras en la columna izquierda y al re- ducir la amplitud según las recomenda-ciones en la columna derecha. Se pueden todavía elejir 12 costuras más.
