MAINTENANCE • To check blade balance, you will need a 5/8" diameter steel bolt, pin, or a cone balancer. (When using a cone balancer, follow the instructions supplied with balancer.) NOTE: Do not use a nail for balancing blade. The lobes of the center hole may appear to be centered, but are not. • Slide blade on to an unthreaded portion of the steel bolt or pin and hold the bolt or pin parallel with the ground. If blade is balanced, it should remain in a horizontal position.
MAINTENANCE AIR FILTER (See Fig. 17) • Your engine will not run properly and may be damaged by using a dirty air filter. Replace the air filter every 100 hours of operation or every season, whichever occurs first. Service air cleaner more often under dusty conditions. • • TO CLEAN AIR FILTER 1. Remove cover. 2. Remove knob and carriage bolt on one side of the lower handle. 2. While holding handle assembly, remove knob and carriage bolt from opposite side, align hole in handle with desired hole in handle bracket and reassemble bolt and knob and tighten securely. 3. Align opposite side of handle with same positioning hole and secure with bolt and knob.

Pour assurer que l’essence utilisée soit fraîche, achetez des conteneurs d’essence pouvant être utilisés en moins de 30 jours.

ENTRETIEN TONDEUSE À GAZON IMPORTANT: POUR ASSURER L'ASSEMBLAGE ADÉQUAT, ALIGNEZ LE TROU DU CENTRE DE LAME AVEC L'ÉTOILE DU L’ADAPTATEUR DE LAME. 4. Les parties de l’orifice central peuvent avoir l’apparence qu’elles sont centrées, mais elles ne sont pas. • Glissez la lame sur la partie sans filetage du boulon ou la cheville en acier et gardez le boulon/la cheville dans une position parallèle avec la terre. Si la lame est équilibrée, elle doit rester horizontale.
