Whileholdingthebedinthefullyraisedposition,removethebedlockingpinfromitsstowedpositionunderthebed
andinsertitintothebedlockingpinholesinthebedhingeplates(Figure9,Page25).Priortoloweringthebed,
removethebedlockingpinfromthebedlockingpinholesinthebedhingeplatesandreturnittoitsstowedposition
underthebed.SeefollowingDANGERandWARNING.

•Usecautionwhenworkingunderbed.Besurebedissecuredwithlockingpin.Otherwisethebed
couldfall,resultinginseverepersonalinjuryordeath.
WARNING
•Forvehicleswithcargobeds,removeallcargobeforeraisingthebedorservicingthevehicle.Ifthe
vehicleisequippedwithalockingpin,ensurethatitissecurelyinstalled.Donotlowerbeduntilall
personsareclearofcargobedarea.Keephandsclearofallcrushareas.Donotdropcargobed;
lowergentlyandkeepentirebodyclear.Failuretoheedthiswarningcouldresultinseverepersonal
injuryordeath.
