ELECTRICWINCHACCESSORY
Ifyourvehicleisequippedwithanelectricwinch,readandfollowallmanufacturersafetywarningsandinstructionsin
thewinchoperatormanual,aswellasthefollowingWARNINGandCAUTIONstatements.Makesureawinchwarning
decalisafxedtothevehicleontheseatsupportpanelnexttothereceptaclefortheremoteoperationswitch.
Thewinchkitavailableincludesaremoteoperationswitch,whichenablestheoperatortomoveawayfromthevehicle
andcable.SeefollowingWARNINGandCAUTION.
WARNING
•Beforebeginningawinchoperation:
–TurnkeyswitchtotheOFFposition,putForward/ReversehandleintheNEUTRALposition,and
engagetheparkbrake.
–Donotusewinchwhilepersonsareseatedonthevehicle.
•Standtothesideandawayfromthevehicletooperatewinch.
CAUTION
•Useofthewinchforanextendedperiodoftimecoulddischargethebattery.Keepwinchoperations
asshortaspossible,anddrivethevehicleforseveralminutesafterthewinchoperationtorecharge
thebattery.
MUDTIREOPTION
4x4vehiclesequippedwithoptionalmudtiresareintendedonlyforoff-roadoperation;theyarenotdesignedforuse
onpavedsurfacessuchasasphaltandconcrete.Frequentdrivingonpavedsurfaceswillsignicantlydecreasethe
lifeofthemudtires.Vehicleperformancewillalsobereducedwhendrivingonpavedsurfaces.Seefollowing

•Toavoidtheriskofrolloverwhenoperatingavehicleequippedwithmudtiresonapavedsurface:
reducespeed,useextremecaution,anddriveslowlyinturns.
•Thediameterofalltiresonthevehiclemustbeequal;otherwisethefour-wheeldrivesystemwillnot
operateasintendedandcouldresultinseverepersonalinjuryordeath.Neverinstalltiresofdifferent
diametersonthevehicle.
