•Donotadjustthedriver-sideseatwhilethevehicleisinmotion.
Toadjustthepassenger-sideseat
1.Removetheseatfromthevehicle.
2.Removethefourboltsandwashersfromthebottomoftheseatmountingplate.
3.Alignthemountingplateholeswithholesintheseattoachievethedesiredseatposition.
4.Installwashersandbolts,andtightento96in-lb(10.8N·m).
5.Installtheseat.SeeprecedingWARNING“Makesureseathingesandlatch...”.
PRE-OPERATIONANDDAILYSAFETYCHECKLIST
Eachvehiclehasbeenthoroughlyinspectedandadjustedatthefactory;however,uponreceivingyournewvehicle(s),
youshouldbecomefamiliarwiththecontrols,indicators,andoperation.Carefullyinspecteachvehicletoensurethatit
isinproperworkingconditionbeforeacceptingdelivery.
Usethefollowinglistasaguidetoinspectthevehicle.Thislistshouldbeuseddailyandinconjunctionwiththe
PerformanceInspectiononpage23andthePeriodicServiceScheduleonpage33toensurethatthevehicleisin
properworkingcondition.Anyproblemsshouldbecorrectedbyadealer/distributororatrainedtechnician.
•General:Allthepartsshouldbeinplaceandproperlyinstalled.Besurethatallnuts,bolts,andscrewsaretight.
Checkhoseclampsfortightt.
•Safetyandinformationdecals:Checktoensurethatallsafetyandinformationdecalsareinplaceandcanbe
readeasily.SeeSafetyDecalandFeatureIdenticationonpage5.
•ROPS:ChecktoensuretheROPSisnotdamagedandallhardwareissecure.SeeRoll-OverProtective
StructureandSeatBeltsonpage20.
•Seatbelts:Visuallyinspectforcuts,fraying,andlooseparts.SeeRoll-OverProtectiveStructureandSeat
Beltsonpage20.
•Tires:Checkforpropertirepressure.Visuallyinspecttiresforwear,damage,andproperinationonadailybasis.

•Battery:Checkelectrolytetoensureitisattheproperlevel(Figure38).Checkbatteryposts.Wiresshouldbetight
andfreeofcorrosion,andbatteryshouldbefullycharged.
•Engine:Checkforproperengineoilandcoolantlevelsandleaks.SeeEngineOilonpage39.Checkairlter
andreplaceifnecessary.
•Fuel:Checkfuellevel.SeeFuelingInstructionsonpage48.Checkfueltank,lines,fuelcap,pump,andfuellters
forfuelleakage.Drainwaterfromthefuellter(dieselvehicle).SeeDrainingWaterfromFuelFilteronpage49.
•Exhaustsystem:Checkforleaks.
•Hydraulicbrakes:Checkuidlevel.FillwithDOT5brakeuidonly.SeeBrakeFluidReservoironpage38.Wear
inthebrakesbeforeinitialvehicleoperation.Onaat,opensurface,acceleratethevehicletomoderatespeed,
thenapplythebrakesundermodest,steadypressure.Repeatthisprocedurevetimes.SeefollowingNOTE.
NOTE:Performthewear-inprocedurewhenthevehiclehasbeeninoperationforlessthanaweek,orwhenthe
brakepadsorrotorhavebeenreplaced.
•PerformanceInspection:Inspectasinstructed.SeePerformanceInspectiononpage23.
