Theengineoilandoilltershouldbechangedatthefollowingintervals:
Kawasakigasolineengine:aftertherst10hoursofoperation.
Kubotadieselengine:aftertherst50hoursofoperation.
Afterthat,theoilshouldbechangedevery100hoursofoperationorannually,whichevercomesrst.
EngineOilDraining
1.TurnthekeyswitchtotheOFFpositionandremovethekey.PlacetheForward/ReversehandleintheNEUTRAL
position.Chockthefrontwheels.
2.Disconnectbatteryandsparkplug(Gasonly)wires.SeeDisconnectingtheBatteryGasoline/DieselVehicle
onpage13.
3.Removetheoilllercaptoallowtheoiltodrainproperly.
4.Positionapandesignedforoilchangesunderthedrainplug(Figure21orFigure22).
5.Fromtheundersideofthevehicle,useasocketorwrenchtoremovethedrainplug(1).Turntheplug
counterclockwiseanddraintheengineoilintothepan.SeefollowingWARNING.
WARNING
Donotattempttochangeengineoilwhentheengineishotorevenwarm.Hotengineoilcancause
skinburns.
Wearsafetyglassesorapprovedeyeprotectionwhenservicingthevehicle.Wearrubbergloveswhen
handlingoildrainplug,oillter,andoildrainpan.
6.Cleantheoildrainplugthreadswithsolventtoremoveoilandoilresidue.Makesurethatthecompression
washerorsealingo-ringremainsonthedrainplug.Inspectthecompressionwasherorthesealingo-ring
andreplaceifnecessary.
