WARNING
•Tohelppreventfallsfromthevehicle,remainseatedwithseatbeltfastenedandholdontohandholds
atalltimes.Drivershouldkeepbothhandsonthesteeringwheelwhenthevehicleisinmotion.
•Tohelppreventthepossibilityofseriousinjury,keepentirebodyinsidethevehicle.
•Tohelppreventoverturningthevehicle,driveslowlyinturns.
•Tohelppreventoverturningthevehicle,driveslowlystraightupanddownslopes.Avoiddriving
thevehicleonslopesexceeding20%incline.
•Avoidstoppingaloadedvehicleonahill.Ifaloadedvehiclemustbestoppedonahill,avoid
suddenstartsorrollingbackwardsandstoppingsuddenly.Failuretoheedthiswarningcouldresult
inoverturningthevehicle.
•Tohelpavoidpossibleinjurytoinattentivepassengersand(or)damagetothevehicle,avoidsudden
starts,suddenstops,andabruptturns.
•Tohelpavoidthepossibilityoflosingcontroloforoverturningthevehicle,reducespeedforadverse
drivingconditionssuchaswetgrassorroughterrain.
•Donotusethevehicleonpublicroads.Itisneitherdesignednorintendedforstreetuseandshould
notbelicensedforuseonpublicroads.
•Thevehicleshouldbedriveninonlyspeciedareasbytraineddrivers.
•Donotdrivewhileundertheinuenceofalcohol,drugs,ormedications.
•Usebrakestoreducespeedwhencoastingdownhill.
•Neverattemptjumps.
•Keepawayfromdrop-offs,steepslopes,andunstablesurfaces.
•Avoidextremelyhardbrakinginreverse.
•Thisvehicleisnotintendedtobeusedwhereriskoffallingobjectsexists.Ifyourvehiclewillbeused
insuchanenvironment,contactyourlocaldealer.
Nooneshoulddrivethevehiclewithoutrstbeinginstructedintheproperoperationanduseofvehiclecontrols.An
experiencedoperatorshouldaccompanyeachrst-timedriveronatestdrivebeforeallowingthedrivertooperate
thevehiclealone.
Toensuresafeoperationofthevehicle,followexactlyandinorderallofthefollowingprocedures.Readand
understandallinstructionsbeforedrivingthevehicle.
STARTINGTHEVEHICLE
1.Readsafetywarningsontheinstrumentpanelandvehicleloadinginformationlocatedinthecargobed.
2.Besureload,ifany,issecure.
3.Studyandunderstandallcontrols.
4.Besureallpassengersareseatedwiththeirseatbeltsfastenedandareholdingontohandholds.Drivershould
havebothhandsonthesteeringwheel.
5.Makesurewheelsareturnedindesireddirectionandnothingisinyourpath.
6.MakesuretheForward/ReversehandleisintheNEUTRALposition.
7.Pressandholdthebrakepedal.
8.Startthevehicle.
8.1.Dieselvehicles:T opreheatglowplugsincoldweather,turnthekeytothePREHEATpositionandholdit
therefor10-15seconds.TurnthekeytotheSTARTpositionandholditthereuntiltheenginestarts.Ifthe
enginedoesnotstartafter10-15seconds,turnthekeytotheOFFpositionandrepeattheprocedure.Once
theenginestarts,releasethekeyanditwillreturntotheONposition.Theenginewillidleinneutral.
9.Releasetheparkbrake.
