2.2.Connecttheventtubetothefueltankvent.
3.Connectbattery.SeeConnectingtheBattery–DieselVehiclesonpage10.CoatterminalswithBattery
TerminalProtectorSpray(P/N6030000-03).
4.PlacetheForward/ReversehandleintheNEUTRALposition.Cranktheengineuntilfuelispumpedintothefuel
lines(allvehicles)andtheenginestarts.Turntheengineoff.SeefollowingNOTE.

consistentmaintenancecanpreventvehicledowntimeandexpensiverepairs.UsethePre-OperationandDailySafety
Checklistonpage19,thePerformanceInspectiononpage19,andthefollowingPeriodicServiceScheduleand
PeriodicLubricationScheduletokeepthevehicleinproperworkingcondition.
Anyvehiclenotfunctioningcorrectlyshouldnotbeuseduntilitisproperlyrepaired.Thiswillpreventfurtherdamageto
thevehicleandhelppreventinjurytooccupantsresultingfromunsafeconditions.
ContactyourlocalHusqvarnadealer/distributorforrepairsandsemiannualandannualperiodicservice.

•Onlytrainedtechniciansshouldserviceorrepairthevehicle.Anyonedoingevensimplerepairsor
serviceshouldhaveknowledgeandexperienceinelectricalandmechanicalrepair.Theappropriate
instructionsmustbeusedwhenperformingmaintenance,service,oraccessoryinstallation.
•Ifanyproblemsarefoundduringscheduledinspectionorservice,donotoperatevehicleuntilrepairs
aremade.Failuretomakenecessaryrepairscouldresultinre,propertydamage,severepersonal
injury,ordeath.
•Donotwearlooseclothingorjewelrysuchasrings,watches,chains,etc.,whenservicingthevehicle.
•TurnkeyswitchtotheOFFposition,removethekey,placetheForward/Reversehandleinthe
NEUTRALpositionandchockthewheelspriortoservicing.
•Movingparts:Donotattempttoservicevehiclewhileengineisrunning.
•Hot!Donotattempttoservicehotengineorexhaustsystem.Failuretoheedthiswarningcould
resultinsevereburns.
•Forvehicleswithcargobeds,removeallcargobeforeraisingthebedorservicingthevehicle.Ifthe
vehicleisequippedwithaproprod,ensurethatitissecurelyengagedwhilebedisraised.Donot
closebeduntilallpersonsareclearofcargobedarea.Keephandsclearofallcrushareas.Donot
dropcargobed;lowergentlyandkeepentirebodyclear.Failuretoheedthiswarningcouldresultin
severepersonalinjuryordeath.
•Donotworkonvehiclepowertrainorundercargobedwhenitisloaded.
