– Lay the read wheel on a workbench with the rear sprocket
facing upwards and insert the wheel spindle in the hub.

To check the play

, hold the rear wheel tight and try to
rotate the rear sprocket.

Measure the play on the outside of the rear sprocket.

is larger than the specified value:
– Change all rubber dampers in the rear hub.
Finishing work
– Install the rear wheel. ( p. 167)
– Remove the rear of the motorcycle from the lifting gear.
