RAPTOR
Residential Three (3) Year Limited Warranty
Hustler
®
Turf Equipment, makes the following warranty to
the original purchaser only:
a. Residential use: Hustler
®
Turf Consumer Products
used for normal residential purposes* are warranted
for two (2) years (parts and labor) from date of
delivery on all materials and workmanship.
If the Purchaser discovers within this warranty period
a defect in materials or workmanship:
 He must promptly notify an authorized Hustler
®
Turf Equipment dealer of the defect. In no event
shall such notification be received by an authorized
Hustler Turf Equipment dealer later than twenty-
five (25) months from date of delivery.
 Within a reasonable time after such notification,
Hustler
®
Turf Equipment, will correct any defect in
material or workmanship on the Hustler
®
turf
equipment, by repairing or replacing part(s) with
either new or used replacement parts.
 Such repair, including parts and labor shall be at
the expense of Hustler
®
Turf Equipment, and,
* Normal residential purpose means use of
product on same lot as your home. Use at more than
one location is considered commercial use, and then
the commercial use warranty would apply.
b. Third Year: At the conclusion of the two year limited
warranty described in paragraph (a) above, there shall
be an additional one year limited warranty on parts
only, no labor.
If the Purchaser discovers within this warranty period
a defect in parts:
 He must promptly notify an authorized Hustler
®
Turf Equipment dealer of the defect. In no event
shall such notification be received by an authorized
Hustler
®
Turf Equipment dealer later than thirty-
seven (37) months from date of delivery.
 Within a reasonable time after such notification,
Hustler
®
Turf Equipment will provide new parts to
install on the Hustler
®
turf equipment.
 The installation of the parts shall be at the expense
of the owner, and,
c. The engine warranty is covered by the engine
manufacturer. Please refer to the engine
manufacturer’s warranty statement, if any, that is
provided with the equipment. Hustler
®
Turf
Equipment does not provide warranty adjustments or
repairs on engines. Hustler
®
Turf Equipment does not
guarantee or imply that any engine manufacturer will
comply with the terms of its warranty, and,
d. The battery is covered by a one (1) year limited
warranty to the original purchaser only, and,
e. The evaporative emission control system is covered
by the warranty policy as shown in the Evaporative
Emission Control System section.
Commercial Warranty
Hustler
®
Raptor mowers used in commercial
applications are not covered by warranty.
Rental Warranty
Hustler
®
Raptor mowers used in rental applications are
not covered by warranty.
Evaporative Emission Control System
Hustler
®
Turf Equipment, makes the following warranty to
the original purchaser only:
a. The evaporative emission control system is
warranted for two (2) years. If any evaporative
emission-related part on your equipment is defective
in material or workmanship, the part will be repaired
or replaced by Hustler
®
Turf Equipment.
Your evaporative emission control system may
include parts such as: fuel tanks, fuel lines, fuel line
fittings, fuel caps, carbon canisters, canister mounting
brackets, carburetor purge port connection, filters,
vapor hoses, clamps, control valves, control
solenoids, electronic controls, vacuum control
diaphrams, purge valves, liquid/vapor separator and
other associated components.
If the Purchaser discovers within this warranty period
(two (2) years from date of delivery) a defect in
materials or workmanship:
 He must promptly notify an authorized Hustler
®
Turf Equipment dealer of the defect. In no event
shall such notification be received by an authorized
Hustler
®
Turf Equipment dealer later than twenty-
five (25) months from date of delivery.
 Within a reasonable time after such notification,
Hustler
®
Turf Equipment will correct any defect in
material or workmanship on the Hustler
®
turf
