Clean with a solution of
MILD SOAP (LIQUID DISH DETERGENT) AND WARM WATER
ONLY!
Use a soft, clean cloth with light pressure to remove dust and dirt. Rinse with clean water and
dry by blotting with a cloth or chamois.
Grease, Oil, Tar and Uncured Paint can be removed using MV&P Naptha or Kerosene
on a soft cloth. Afterward, clean window using instructions above to remove residue.
DO NOT USE:
GASOLINE
ALCOHOL
ACETONE
BENZENE
TOLUENE
MINERAL SPIRITS
PAINT THINNER
LACQUER THINNER
If dusting is necessary, use a damp, soft cloth to prevent scratching
and static build up on the blocks.
DO NOT USE “After Shower Sprays,”
Window or Glass Cleaners, Abrasive or Scouring Cleaners
DO NOT USE Squeegees, Scouring Pads, Razor Blades,
Scrapers or Other Sharp Instruments
DO NOT Pressure Wash, Acid Wash or Steam Clean the window
LEAVE THE BUBBLE WRAP ON!
The window is shipped with bubble wrap on both sides to protect the blocks. The wrap can
be peeled back to inspect for damage, but should be replaced to protect the window from
scratches, mortar and overspray during construction. Once construction is complete,
the bubble wrap can be removed.
