In the Name line, you can assign a unique
alphanumeric name for the CAN-message
or measured value.
In the lines Lower measurement range
and Upper measurement range enter the
appropriate sensor values (e.g. 0 and 600
for a 0 .. 600 bar pressure sensor).
In the Unit line, enter the relevant unit of
measurement for the sensor (e.g. bar, psi,
°C, etc.)
Under Decimal format specify, whether
the measured value is to be displayed with
a decimal place in the HMG.
CAN Data
In the Frame Format line, indicate whether the
CAN message is in either Standard (11 bit) or
Extended (29 bit) format.
In the Message Id line enter the hexadecimal
coded message-Id (CAN-Identifier) of the
relevant CAN-message.
In the Data offset line indicate from which of the
eight databytes the required information should
start to be read.
(Example: With Data offset = 3 and Data format =
16-Bit Integer, the 4th and 5th databyte will be
read)
