FREESTANDING INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
for Ovale, Rosabella and Tahoe 7242 Models
INSTALL BATHTUB
NOTE: Remote blower installations continue on page 12 and then
return to step 8.
8. Apply a small bead of silicone to leveling feet to prevent lateral
movement or shifting of tub inside of tub surround. (gure 2A)
9. Rest a 4x4 on each end of tub to provide enough clearance to
attach water supply lines. Open supply valves to check for leaks.
10. Remove 4x4’s and gently lower bathtub into apron, making sure
all legs under the tub rest rmly on the oor (gure 2B).
11. Connect waste/overow per local standards. If there is no access
to tub from below, it may be necessary to connect waste/overow
assembly to house plumbing before step 8, then securing drain
tting and overow to tub after tub is set in apron (gure 3).
COMPLETE BATHTUB INSTALLATION
12. Fill the tub with water to the overow and allow to set for 20
minutes, then drain the tub while inspecting the waste connections
below the oor for leaks. Access from below will be necessary for
this step (gure 4).
13. With the tub now in place, wipe off any excess silicone where the
tub meets the oor, if used.
14. Run a bead of tub and tile caulk around the bottom edge of the
tub where it meets the oor. Wipe off any excess caulk with a wet
cloth.
