8.3.2 Setting the Alert Tone
You can enable or disable the alert tone. Go to Menu > Profiles > Settings > Tone > On/Off, and then press the
OK/Menu key.
After the alert tone is enabled, you can adjust the alert tone volume. Go to Menu > Profiles > Settings > Tone >
Tone Volume, select the volume level, and then press the OK/Menu key.
A higher level represents higher volume.
8.3.3 Audio Settings
8.3.3.1 Mic AGC
The Mic AGC feature allows the calling radio to control the voice output gain within a proper range during
transmission, so as to provide improved voice with proper volume for the called radio. This feature ensures stable
voice even in noisy environment.
Go to Menu > Profiles > Settings > Audio Set > Digital Mic AGC/Analog Mic AGC, and then press the
OK/Menu key to enable the feature.
8.3.3.2 3-Band Equalize
The 3-band Equalize feature allows the radio to adjust the balance between frequency components of the audio
signal upon receiving voice. In this way, this feature optimizes the quality of the received voice, and meets user
demands in different scenarios.
For optimal equalization, you can set the low/mid/high frequency gain according to different scenarios. The
following table lists the recommended value for each parameter. You can also set the value as required.

Do as follows:
Go to Menu > Profiles > Settings > Audio Set > 3-Band Equalize, select On, and then press the OK/Menu
key.
Set the Low Freq. Gain, Mid Freq. Gain, and High Freq. Gain. (The value range is from –8 dB to +8 dB.)
