Location
The Location feature allows the terminal to determine its location through Wi-Fi, mobile network, BT, or
GPS.
This feature also allows the location-related apps, such as Camera, Intercom, and Map to realize
services such as positioning, navigating, and weather forecasting.
To configure the Location feature, do as follows:
1. Tap
Security & location > Location, and turn on Location.
2. Tap
Mode, and then select one of the following location modes:
High Accuracy: The terminal locates accurately through Wi-Fi, mobile network, BT, or GPS.
Battery Saving: The terminal locates only through Wi-Fi, mobile network or BT, so as to save
battery power.
Device Only: The terminal locates only through GPS and sensors without using data traffic.
3. Tap
Location > App-level Permissions, and then set the permission of the apps to access location
information.
3.5 Language and Input
To configure language and input, tap System > Language & input, and then perform the following
operations:
To configure the display language, tap
Languages, and then drag the desired language to the list
top. To add a new language not included in the list, tap
Add a language, and then search the
desired language.
To configure the input method, tap
Virtual keyboard, and then select the desired input method. To
add a new input method, download and install the desired input method when the device is
connected to network, and then configure and enable it in the
Virtual keyboard menu.
When two or more input methods are enabled, open the text input interface, and then tap in the
lower right corner of the screen to switch between them.
