Other Operations
Selecting a capture mode
The camera provides the following professional shooting modes for your choice.
AUTO: The AUTO mode allows the camera to automatically select an ideal capture mode
according to the surrounding environment.
HDR: The HDR (High-Dynamic Range) mode allows the greater dynamic range of exposures
and produces pictures with correct brightness from bright parts to dark parts.
UbiFocus: The UbiFocus mode allows the camera to take an all-in-focus image. After taking the
photo, you can tap the picture to re-focus the desired places.
OptiZoom: The OptiZoom mode allows you to lock an object that the camera will automatically
zoom in. When the object moves, the camera adapts the zooming to clearly capture it.
Other modes: Besides, Snapdragon Camera provides a number of shooting modes for different
objects and scenes, including Portraits, Landscape, Sports, Flowers, Backlight, Candlelight,
Sunset, Night, Beach, and Snow.
Applying a filter
In AUTO mode, the camera provides various filters for different effects.
In the viewfinder, tap and select a filter among
Mono, Sepia, Negative, Solarize, Posterize,
Aqua, Emboss, Sketch, and Neon.
To turn off the filter, select
None.
Configuring the camera
In the viewfinder, tap and then you can perform the following operations.
Flash: Tap
Flash and select Off, Auto, or On. The flash provides extra lighting when you take
pictures in dim light conditions.
