CLIMATE CONTROL AIR FILTER (IF EQUIPPED)
Filter inspection
The climate control air filter should be
inspected and cleaned according to the
Maintenance Schedule. If the vehicle is
operated in severely air-polluted cities or
on dusty rough roads for a long period, it
should be inspected more frequently and
cleaned earlier. Inspect it performing the
following procedure, and be careful to
avoid damaging other components.
Filter replacement
1. With the glove box opened, push in
both sides of the glove box as shown.
This will ensure that the glove box
stopper pins will get released from its
holding location allowing the glove box to
hang.
2. Remove the climate control air filter
cover by pressing the clips (1) in the
direction of the arrow shown in the
above picture and pull out the cover
(2).
3. Inspect and clean the climate control
filter with water.
4. Reassemble in the reverse order of
disassembly.

NOTICE
After inspecting or cleaning the climate
control air filter install it properly.
Otherwise, the system may produce
noise and the effectiveness of the filter
may be reduced.
