9.2 Pocket Excel
Pocket Excel works with Microsoft Excel on your PC to
provide easy access to copies of your workbooks. You can
create new workbooks on your device, or you can copy work-
books from your PC to your device. Synchronize work books
between your PC and your device so that you have the most
up-to-date content in both locations.
To Create a new Pocket Excel File

Tap → Programs → Pocket Excel → and
then New. A blank work book appears.

If you have selected a template for new
work books in the Options di a log box, that
template appears with appropriate text and
for mat ting already pro vid ed.
Pocket Excel provides fundamental spreadsheet tools, such
as for mu las, functions, sorting, and fi ltering. To display the
toolbar, tap View and then Toolbar.
You can open only one workbook at a time; when
you open a second workbook, you will be asked
to save the fi rst. You can save a workbook you
create or edit in a variety of for mats, including
Pocket Excel (.pxl) and Excel (.xls).

password. To do so, open the workbook; tap
Edit, and then Password. Every time you open
the workbook, you will need to enter the password,
so choose one that is easy for you to remember
but hard for others to guess.
