7.3 Pocket Internet Explorer
Once connected, you can use Microsoft Pock et Internet
Ex plor er
to view Web HTML, cHTML, xHTML and WAP
pag es. You can browse in ei ther of these ways:
 During synchronization with your PC, download your
fa vor ite links and mobile favorites that are stored in the
Mobile Favorites folder in Internet Explorer on the
PC.
To synchronize and download your favorite links
from your desk top computer, tap the sync op tion
Favorites in ActiveSync on your desk top PC.
 Connect to an Internet service provider (ISP) or network
and browse the Web. To do this, you will need to create
the connection fi rst, as described in section 7.2 Con nect
to the Internet.
When connected to an ISP or network, you can also down load
fi les and programs from the Internet or intranet.
To switch to Pocket Internet
Explorer :
Tap → Internet Explorer.
You can use Pocket Internet Explorer to browse mobile
fa vor ites and channels that have been downloaded to your
de vice without connecting to the Internet. You can also con-
nect to the Internet through an ISP or a network connection
and browse the Web/ WAP page(s).

