IBM Remote Technical Support for VMware provides 1 and 3 year offerings with either 7x24 or 5x9 coverage, packaged within a ServicePac.
Remote Technical Support via the Support Line Service for Customers running a VMWare environment on their IBM System x or BladeCenter.

When selecting the appropriate ServicePac option to be sold to the end-user customer, match the
corresponding Software Support ServicePac to the number of VMware licences purchased per server.
For Example:
1 : A customer purchasing a single System x server running a 4-way VMware licence MUST purchase the corresponding
4-way ServicePac for Support Line for VMware pack in order to receive support on that installation.
2 : A customer purchasing five (5) System x servers running 2-way VMware licences and two (2) System x servers
running 8-way VMware licences MUST purchase the corresponding 5 x 2-way ServicePacs (Part # 96P2850)
and 2 x 8-way ServicePacs (Part # 96P2858) in order to receive support on that installation.
