BeforeconguringRAIDforyourserver,observethefollowingprecautions:
1.UseharddiskdrivesthathavethesamecapacitywithinasingleRAIDarray.
2.Useharddiskdrivesthatareofthesametype(SATAorSAS)withinasingleRAIDarray.
3.Dependingontheoperatingsystem,theprimaryRAIDmightbelimitedto2TBtotaldrivecapacity.
ConguringRAIDusingtheThinkServerEasyStartupprogram
TheThinkServerEasyStartupprogramsimpliestheprocessofconguringsupportedRAIDandinstalling
supportedWindowsandLinuxoperatingsystemsanddevicedriversonyourserver.Theuserguideforthe
programcanbeaccesseddirectlyfromtheprograminterface.
TheThinkServerEasyStartupprogramhasthefollowingfeaturesforRAIDconguration:

inserttheThinkServerEasyStartupDVDintotheopticaldrive.Theinstallationpackagesfortheprogramsare
