thescreen.TheManagementMenucontainsthefollowingmenuitems:
•Congure
ThismenucontainsitemstohelpyoucreateaRAIDarray,viewthecurrentRAIDconguration,addanew
array,deleteanexistingarray,orselectabootvirtualdrive.
•Initialize
Thismenuhelpsyouinitializevirtualdrive(s).
Note:Initializingavirtualdriveerasesalldataonthevirtualdrive.Backupanydatayouwanttokeepand
ensuretheoperatingsystemisnotinstalledonthevirtualdrivebeforetheinitialization.
•Objects
ThismenuhelpsyoucongureparametersfortheRAIDadapterorcontroller,thevirtualdrive(s),andthe
physicaldrive(s).
•Rebuild
Thismenuhelpsyourebuildaphysicaldriveinanarrayintheeventofaphysicaldrivefailure.Youcan
choosetorebuildthedataonthefailingdriveifthedriveisstilloperational.Ifthedriveisnotoperational,
itmustbereplacedandthedataonthefailingdrivemustberebuiltonanewdrivetorestorethesystem
tofaulttolerance.Ifhot-sparedrivesareavailable,thefailingdrivemightberebuiltautomaticallywithout
anyuserintervention.
•CheckConsistency
Thismenuhelpsyoudoconsistencycheckforthevirtualdrive(s).Theconsistencycheckveriesthe
correctnessofthedataonvirtualdrive(s)thatuseRAID1,5,and10.
