One  long  beep  and  two  short  beeps 
A  video  error  has  occurred,  and  the  BIOS  cannot  initialize  the  monitor 
screen  to  display  additional  information.

The  following  table  provides  an  abbreviated  list  of  the  error  codes  that  might  appear 
during  POST.  See  the  Problem  Determination  and  Service  Guide  on  the  IBM 
xSeries  Documentation  CD  for  more  information  about  the  POST  error  codes.  To  
check  for  updated  technical  information,  go  to  http://www.ibm.com/support/,  and 
type  8485  or  8490  (depending  on  the  machine  type  for  your  server  model)  under 
Search  technical  support.

column  until  the  problem  is  solved.
