a. The tabs on the bottom of the insulators sit in the holes in the bottom of the
metal section of the bracket.
b. The tabs on the top of the insulators engage the plastic retainer section of
the bracket.
Power-supply structure
This section contains information about removing and replacing the power-supply
structure.
Note:

Complete the following steps to remove the power-supply structure:
1. Turn off the server and all peripheral devices; then, disconnect all power cords
and external cables.
2. Remove the top cover (see “Removing the cover and bezel” on page 32).
3. Remove the fans (see “Replacing a hot-swap fan” on page 55).
4. Remove the memory cassette (see “Installing a microprocessor” on page 44).
5. Remove the power supplies (see “Installing a hot-swap power supply” on page
51).
6. Pull the two blue latches (1) on the power-supply structure toward the front of
the server; the structure will disengage from the chassis.

7. Grasp the handle in the middle of the structure and rotate the back of the
structure up (2), allowing the structure to pivot at the end closest to the front
of the chassis.
8. Slide the structure toward the rear of the server (3), disengaging the tabs on
the structure from the slots in the server (4).
