Hardware Installation
1. Use the included USB cable to connect the USB port on the adapter to a USB port on
your computer.
2. Using Cat6 Ethernet cable, connect the RJ45 port of the adapter to a Gigabit Ethernet
port on your router, switch or other networking device.
Driver Installation (follow Step 3 that matches your system)
1. Insert the included setup CD in your CD-ROM drive.
2. On your desktop, click “Start” then “Run.”
3. When the prompt displays
• For Windows 2000, XP/2003 (32/64-bit) — Enter “D:\USB2GIGA\Win2K_2K3_XP\
setup.exe” (where “D” is the designation of your CD drive).
• For Windows Vista (32/64-bit) — Enter “D:\USB2GIGA\Vista\setup.exe” (where “D” is
the designation of your CD drive).
• For Windows 7 (32/64-bit) — Enter “D:\USB2GIGA\7\setup.exe” where “D” is the
designation of your CD drive).
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the software installation.
5. Restart your computer. Once you’ve re-booted, the adapter is ready for use.
