A change has been implemented regarding the expansion valve on the ICEU150/220 ICE™ Series cube ice machines.
Ice-O-Matic is now utilizing a Danfoss manufactured valve, which will replace the Alco manufactured valve. This supplier
change was implemented in April 2009, and will affect units manufactured beginning with serial numbers listed below.

This Danfoss manufactured expansion valve can replace any Alco manufactured expansion valve used on the
ICEU150/220/225/226 A/W cubers.

Installation Note: The new Danfoss TXV utilizes a stainless steel bulb. When installing a replacement Danfoss TXV
valve, the bulb must be installed with the proper clamp and as tightly as possible to insure proper performance.
