■ Setting the current time
The transceiver has a built-in 24-hour clock with
power-off and power-on timer functions. This is useful
when logging QSO’s and so on. The clock indication
is always displayed except after pushing [F-INP].
q Push [EXIT/SET] several times to close a multi-
function screen, if necessary.
w Push [EXIT/SET] for 1 sec. then [(F-4)TIME] to
enter timer set mode.
e Push [(F-1)Y] to select the Time (Now) item.
r Set the current time using the tuning dial.
• “TIME–set Push [SET]” blinks.
t Push [(F-4)SET] to enter the set time.
• Push [EXIT/SET] to cancel the setting.
y Push [EXIT/SET] twice to exit timer set mode.

■ Timer function activity
The timer functions can be switched ON and OFF
q Push [EXIT/SET] several times to close a multi-
function screen, if necessary.
w Push [EXIT/SET] for 1 sec. then [(F-4)TIME] to
enter timer set mode.
e Push [(F-1)Y] or [(F-2)Z] to select the Timer Func-
tion item.
r Select the timer function activity using the tuning
dial.
ON : Activates the timer functions when [POWER]
is pushed momentarily. (default)
OFF : Deactivates the timer functions even when
[POWER] is pushed momentarily.
t Push [EXIT/SET] twice to exit timer set mode.
